SomeRiseSomeFall feat. Martin Leahy - Sign On My Mind (single)

SomeRiseSomeFall is a Cork-based independent community of songwriters, musicians and creatives. The ever evolving collective brings together artists and vocalists all with the aim to interpret & reimagine songs for unique new recordings. Their most recent album released in February 2021 was album of the week on a number of radio stations and was released to unanimously positive reviews. They hope to perform the album to live audiences later in the year.
One Morning in August - Lovers by Surprise (single)

Following on from last year’s critically acclaimed self-titled debut album and their much lauded single 'Get it Right' from earlier this year, One Morning In August return with their new single ‘Lovers By Surprise’. The County Carlow, southeast of Ireland based outfit once again teamed up with producer David Ayers for their latest release and were also joined by guest vocalist Claire Cummins. ‘Lovers by Surprise’ is the band's second offering since joining forces with Cork independent label FIFA Records and is the perfect example of how the band’s sound is evolving and why they have been hotly tipped by so many. Theirs is a sound that channels heart felt visceral hooks with beautiful layered melodies and harmonies so there is little wonder why their David Ayers produced eponymous debut album was received with such widespread critical acclaim.
Jack Joyce - At the End of the Day (single)

Jack Joyce a 19 year old, Dublin based up and coming unsigned Irish multi instrumentalist singer-songwriter first embarked on his music career at the age of sixteen when he began booking and performing gigs in local pubs and clubs. From a young age, Jack has been composing his own songs and released his debut demo EP, Get Down, in October 2018. Jack Joyce’s sound delivers a unique acoustic, indie-pop style. His cleverly crafted lyrics blend wit and poetry to create a perfect balance between insight and humour. Drawing influence from the epic works of Arctic Monkeys, Pulp and Leonard Cohen, Jack Joyce’s song-writing is something to be experienced. Jack spent the beginning of the summer of 2019 busking and backpacking around Europe, seeking out new inspirations and sounds for his futher music releases.. Following his return he sold out The Vintage Room in the Workman's Club. He followed this by opening for Cassia upstairs in Whelan’s and playing a slot at the New Year’s Festival in Dublin.
J Smith - (...) And you chose not to laugh

James Smith formed Gypsies on the Autobahn at 16 and the band released two albums with Universal Music Ireland, “Born Brief” in 2017 and “Suspended” in 2019. The band saw success supporting Little Green Cars, Bombay Bicycle Club, Bleeding Heart Pigeons, selling out Whelans, playing at Vicar St., Other Voices, and touring the festival circuits. After 14 years, the band amicably parted ways in early 2020. Smith’s independence spurred him to produce a burst of dance-inspired remixes under the name YURN for Soda Blonde, ZASKA, Danny G & The Major 7ths with Tolü Makay, Nnic, Gareth Quinn Redmond, and more. He now brings out his debut album entitled (...) And you chose not to laugh
David Neil Crabtree - Gasoline (single)

‘Gasoline’ is the debut solo single from The Mentulls lead singer David Neil Crabtree, available to download and stream from 18th June on the independent label UpRoot’Em Records. Produced and co-written by Danny Schogger (George Michael, Paul Young) and Charlie Dore (Tina Turner, George Harrison) before being mixed and mastered by John Gallen (Queen, Beverly Craven), ‘Gasoline’ is the first single to be released from David’s forthcoming debut album, which is due for release in the autumn.
Afterbliss - Remnants (single)

Afterbliss met in the most unlikely of places. After a discussion on an online discussion forum, and comprised of members from across Ireland, Scotland and Romania, the indie rock band formed in June 2019. The group is made up of Evan Cassidy on lead vocals, Alex Burcea on lead guitar, synths and backing vocals, Ally Pender on drums, James O’Gorman on rhythm guitar, and Shane Waldron on bass. After 18 months of writing songs, November 2020 saw them release their debut single, “Until Sunrise”, which received acclaim on local and national Irish radio play. The band followed this up in February with “Kiss and Tell”, which The Last Mixed Tape lauded for its demonstration of the group’s “tightly woven interplay”. Each of their songs are treated with beautifully realised music videos. Their music has already accumulated over 27,000 streams between Spotify and YouTube.
Jack Tiernan - Insecure (single)

Jack Tiernan is an eighteen-year-old singer-songwriter from Bealnamulla, Co. Athlone, Ireland. His first single, ‘It’s Ok’ was written and released to raise awareness and funds for mental health for Pieta House, to great success. He followed this up with ‘Broke By Love’ and ‘Meant to Cross’, the latter of which was No. 1 on the iTunes Irish Singer/Songwriter chart the week of its release. He has covered such outlets as the Athlone Advertiser, and the Westmeath Independent, and is heavily supported by local radio (Athlone Community Radio). His cover of Alexander 23’s ‘IDK You Yet’ has also achieved over 250,000 streams on TikTok. Tiernan thanks his father for supporting him on his path so far.
David G Buckley - Boomshot (single)

David G Buckley is a Dublin-born singer-songwriter, based in Italy, with a quickly growing reputation for captivating melodies and a rich pop awareness. Buckley released a well-received debut EP ‘Different Shades of Nothing’ in 2013. He subsequently moved to Italy, for love, and took some time to adjust to new life in Rome. Now ready to take the next step with his music, he has made a cracking return. “Boomshot” is the third single of his 2021 return. The first was "All Our Yesterdays", followed by "Lift Me" - which received national coverage from RTÉ News, for its heart-wrenching and powerful message on cyberbullying. With coverage in national publications such as RTÉ, as well as on local radio stations like Dublin South FM, David G Buckley is becoming known for his blend of arresting songwriting, unforgettable hooks and intricate lyricism.

Brí - If I Wasn't Scared (single)

Hailing from Offaly, Irish indie pop artist Brí has previously released 3 singles, debut track, 'LowSupply', 'Polite' and 'Burying'. From the success gained from these releases she sold-out her own Whelan's headline show, received high praise from a multitude of blogs and radio and was selected to perform at Beatvyne's MusicX Tech Experience. While 2020 saw performances from Brí at the esteemed Whelan's Ones to Watch, The Ruby Sessions, headliners in The Sound House,Spirit Store, festival line-up announcements such as Vantastival and the radio success of her recent releases, Brí hints at her debut album Hide, set to be released in October. If I Wasn't Scared follows her previous single More Than.
