Music from the Heart

A satirical musical comedy duo consisting of singer/songwriters Hannah Grace & Sheenagh Shannon from Co.Wicklow, Ireland. Two young girls dressing up as old farmer men, within several weeks of their internet launch in 2020 they garnered thousands of views on videos of their original songs & skits and have been bringing a light-hearted atmosphere to the streets with their regular busking act. Well known and loved amongst local Irish fans, they have even managed to catch the attention of American, Australian, and Asian viewers.

Áine Duffy (born in Bandon, Co. Cork) is an Irish singer, songwriter, guitar player and performer with a well-established reputation as one of Cork’s finest vocalists. She sings in her own very unique style combining guitar riffs and energetic performances on stage and her lyrics have an honest and unique point of view. Her instruments of choice are two custom anniversary edition Patrick Eggle electric guitars.

Kilkenny-based songwriter, producer, and visual artist Tanoki is set to release a new single “Let Go.” It is the second single from his upcoming debut album File New. The song is a co-write with singer/songwriter Farah Elle, with her adding piano and lyrics to Tanoki’s initial idea. With Tanoki’s signature blend of real and synthetic instruments, the song is intricate and dynamic, featuring experimental electro sounds and hypnotic vocals from Farah Elle. The song also features vocal samples from the Twilight Zone, adding to the mesmeric vibe.

Hotel California is an Americana project by singer and songwriter Daniel Green, living in a small village in Northern Europe. During lockdown he wrote 24 new tracks, which are released song by song every three weeks starting in January 2021. He loves his life and his life exists within music. Dark moments transform to songs as do the beautiful ones. His biggest shows so far were the Sziget Festival in Budapest and the Vans Varped Tour in the USA. He has produced songs with Ronald Bood (Mando Diao, Kooks).

Molly O’Mahony is an exceptionally gifted musician and singer songwriter from Ballydehob, West Cork, Ireland. Now she releases her debut single as a solo artist “Remember to Be Brave” This is what she said about the song: “This is a song of hope, recovery and forward movement. I send it out to everyone affected by the crazy year in our wake, and as a rallying cry to look up, open outwards and keep her lit. The world and the people in it are actually wonderful.”

Originating from the town of Portlaoise, Ireland, Chris Conroy discovered a love for guitar and in turn songwriting in his late teens. From learning his first chords, to writing his first lyrics, his life experiences have shaped who he is and how his music sounds today. A constant battle between happiness and heartache, love and loss, Chris expresses a refreshing and honest vulnerability, a defiant and hopeful mindset all in a playful yet serious manner. Chris grew up listening to Acoustic/Pop acts such as Ed Sheeran , Damien Rice and Bon Iver but now draws inspiration from numerous Hip Hop and RnB artists which he infuses with his original love of Acoustics.

Les SalAmandas, a new singing-songwriting act on the Irish music scene, are Julie O'Sullivan (Ballydehob, West Cork, Ireland) and Colyne Laverriere (Huston, France).They met in late 2018 in Ballydehob, West Cork. Les SalAmandas made their live debut at Levis Corner House, an award-winning Irish venue, as part of  ‘Secret Song Festival’ (2019).  On 1st September 2020, they performed at a sold out gig in Levis Corner House and revealed a maturity of song-writing well beyond their years.

Pretending To Wake Up is the new album from Co. Monaghan singer songwriter Jim McHugh. For his third album, McHugh lets us hear how he has progressed his rock sound in an organic way, never wavering from his roots in crunchy guitars and anthemic riffs but always developing as a songwriter and raising his game sonically. Working alongside producer Alex Borwick (Parliament Funkadelic, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Niamh O'Regan, Lankum) and session musicians Paul McCabe (bass) Paul Sherry (Eelectric Guitar) and Butch McNeill (Drums), McHugh brings a new dynamic and alluring sound to the rock genre.
